VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Tuesday that goalkeeper Thomas Hasal underwent successful therapeutic procedures last week on both his left and right patellar tendons. The Homegrown product of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan will begin his recovery and post-procedure care this week.
“We are pleased to hear Thomas' procedure was a success and we will continue to support him throughout his recovery process," said Axel Schuster, Whitecaps FC sporting director.
Hasal, 24, recorded three starts across all competitions this season for the first team. In addition, the goalkeeper started four matches for Whitecaps FC 2 in MLS NEXT Pro action.
