Remember Aidan?
He’s the young man who’s been helping out with the Whitecaps FC equipment staff since early last season. As we wrote about in November, his “uplifting and positive attitude” played a big part in the team’s locker room chemistry in 2014.
Well, Aidan is back with the boys this year and he celebrated his 20th birthday on Wednesday.

— Vancouver Whitecaps (@WhitecapsFC) February 18, 2015“I was super surprised,” Aidan told me after training. “I did not see that coming, but they all knew it was my birthday. It made me feel good. And they also tossed me in the air, which I like.”
“He’s a big part of the group,” added Mauro Rosales. “He always has a smile and is being positive for the group. And obviously we need people like that.”
Aidan is the second member of the 'Caps to get the birthday shower treatment this season – Jordan Harvey was the first. There's never a dull moment with this group.
