Vancouver Whitecaps FC BMO MLS Academy midfielder Grady McDonnell has been called up by the Republic of Ireland U-15 national team for the UEFA Development Tournament taking place in Zagreb, Croatia from October 17 to 24.
McDonnell was previously called up for a camp with the team in September.
"Grady has been doing well since joining the U-15 team in August," said Dan Fairhurst, Whitecaps FC BMO Academy U-15 head coach. "Making the Irish U-15 team is a great achievement and opportunity for him. I wish him the best of luck and I'm looking forward to working with him for the rest of this season."
The native of Surrey, BC joined the Whitecaps FC BMO MLS Academy in August 2022 after previously playing in the Whitecaps FC Pre-Academy and for Coastal FC in the BC Soccer Premier League.
