After missing five straight matches, Érik Godoy returned in style on Saturday with a terrific defensive performance and a goal to boot in a 2-1 comeback win for the 'Caps. His performance earned him a spot on the MLS Team of the Week, alongside midfielder Ryan Gauld who gets the nod for a fourth consecutive week.
With the 'Caps trailing 1-0 in the second half, Godoy powered home a header to level the match.
Gauld, who was once again influential, finished with six shots and three on target, including the strike that led to the winning goal from Déiber Caicedo.
