What’s your hometown (or country) known for?
Munich, Germany – Beer.

What’s one thing that reminds you of home?
Grumpy mentality and beer as well.

What do you love most about Vancouver? 
The nature & the things I can do outdoors.

Who’s one celebrity you’d most like to meet?
Brad Pitt.

If you had to swap places with a teammate for a day, who would you choose?
Leo Owusu, because of his amazing style. I would love to have his fashion vibes.

There’s a zombie apocalypse and you can choose three teammates to help you survive it. Who are you picking?
Cava, because he’s a monster. My boy Pat, because he knows everything about Vancouver & he’d know the places where to hide. And Andy, cause he’s so kind and nice so maybe the zombies would spare him, pay him respect.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Doing magic.

Describe your dream home?
Just being on a nice place around nice nature or on a beach, as long as my family is with me it’s good.

What do you think you will do once your playing days are over?
I can imagine being a coach one day, my wife and I are also into the real estate business a bit so that’s definitely a part of our future revenues, but yea I can see myself on the sideline coaching.

What’s your favourite genre of music?
I don’t really have one, I listen to everything, depends on the mood.

What’s your favourite movie?
Lord of the Rings.

Describe your dream vacation?
My wife and I, we love to explore a lot; we’ve felt like every new vacation was a dream vacation.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
It was from my former coach in my youth, he said if you want to become a pro you always have to do more than everyone else. That helped me grow in my confidence and get in my work ethic and I think that made me have a good career so far.

When you’re not in your uniform, what do you dress like?
Whatever my wife puts out.

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
My wife and I wake up and we have a matcha on the patio.

Describe the worst haircut you’ve ever had?
I was like 15 or 16, it was short at the front, long at the back. There were some embarrassing pictures online, I deleted them all. I looked like a jerk.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza.

What would the title of your autobiography be?
Hard Work Beats Talent.

What’s the strangest job you’ve ever had?
Being a soccer player. Haven’t really had another job before.

What is your cellphone wallpaper?
My dogs and my wife.

What’s the quirkiest thing about you?
Probably I talk too much and annoy a lot of people.

What’s your go-to dance move in the club?
In the club I’m always the hider but now since Leo Owusu taught me the dance moves I have the confidence.
