Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, he is a promising prospect that starred for the Whitecaps FC BMO Academy as well as the UBC Thunderbirds before making his first MLS start last week.

Who was your favourite soccer player growing up?
Messi.
If you weren’t a soccer player, what do you think you would be?
I always wanted to be an astronaut.
What or who has had the biggest impact on you in your life?
I think learning about how mentality can shape the way you live and shape the aspirations you have.
What’s go-to favourite spot in Vancouver or the lower mainland?
I really like Coal Harbour, just taking a walk around there. Maybe Cactus Club as well.
What's your favourite TV show?
Of all time? Breaking Bad.
What’s your most commonly visited website or app?
Instagram.
If you had a choice, who would play you in a movie of your life?
I remember I had this question when I signed with the Whitecaps and I said Keanu Reeves, I forgot why but there was a reason to it.
Ever had any unique or interesting nicknames?
Patty, Pattycake, Patty killer.
What’s the biggest challenge you had to go through in your life or career?
Probably when I had a bad injury to my back, that pulled me out for about a year. Regaining my strengths to the mental toughness. That was in 2017 to 2018. I had a slipped disc in my lower back.
What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of my family, the way they raised me and my brother and the way they supported us throughout our whole life.
Do you have a most treasured memory in soccer?
I remember when we won the Coastal Cup which is the biggest thing you can win in the Lower Mainland when I was younger. I remember I scored the winning penalty, that was a big thing for me. That was with Richmond.
What song would you sing at karaoke?
Probably God’s Plan.
Who do you look up to?
I look up to my parents.
Something most people wouldn’t know about you?
I like to bake.
