It's been quite the start for new Whitecaps FC Designated Player Ryan Gauld.
The Scotsman has been named to the MLS Team of the Week for a third straight time after recording a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win over Real Salt Lake at BC Place on Sunday night.
Gauld now has four goals, two assists, and an earned penalty kick in five matches in all competitions.
After setting up Sunday's first goal on a corner kick that resulted in an own goal, Gauld found the back of the net in the second half via a header, his third straight match in all competitions where he has scored with his head.
To cap off the scoring for the Blue & White, another Gauld corner kick resulted in a goal, this time the first in a 'Caps uniform for centre back Florian Jungwirth.
