The eMLS Cup dream is alive for Whitecaps FC player Erfan “Skill Shack” Hosseini after a pair of epic wins in the last chance qualifiers on Tuesday.
Things got off to a stressful start for Skill Shack after going down 3-0 to Gonzo (Colorado Rapids) in the first leg of the opening round, but by the end of the match he had come back to level things 3-3 before winning on aggregate 5-4 in extra time.
In the next round Skill Shack defeated CF Montréal player mehdibob3 7-5 on aggregate to advance to today’s action.
Tonight Skill Shack will first face FC Dallas’ AlanAvi, then if he moves on will play the winner of tokyorift (Minnesota United FC) vs. IMCF_Pabs (Inter Miami CF) for a shot at eMLS Cup this weekend.
