VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Tuesday that Nick Dasovic has accepted an assistant coaching position at USL Championship side Detroit City FC.
“We would like to thank Nick for his years of service and contributions to Vancouver Whitecaps FC,” said Axel Schuster, Whitecaps FC. “Not only is Nick a longtime coach, but also a proud alumni and will always remain a member of our 'Caps family. We will be rooting for his success at Detroit City FC!”
A former player with Vancouver 86ers and Whitecaps, Dasovic rejoined Vancouver Whitecaps FC as a coach in 2019. In that time, the Vancouver native has worked with the Development Squad, as head coach of Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2), and within the Whitecaps FC MLS Academy.
