English Premier League club and 2015-16 FA Cup finalist Crystal Palace FC have announced a 26-man roster for their upcoming North American tour, which concludes with a friendly against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on July 19 at BC Place (tickets still available)
The travelling party includes two of Alan Pardew’s summer signings, defender James Tomkins and former Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend, as well as captain Mile Jedinak (who also captains the Australian national team) and returning youngsters Wilfried Zaha and Yannick Bolasie – two of the more exciting young wingers in the English Premier League.
Zaha, who had a short stint with Manchester United in 2013, was the 2015-16 Crystal Palace Player of the year. Bolasie, meanwhile, is renowned for a 360-degree spin and flick move he pulled off against Tottenham in 2014 that is now known as the “Bolasie Flick.”
The Eagles kick off their North American Tour next Wednesday, July 13 against Philadelphia Union, before facing USL side FC Cincinnati on July 16 and Whitecaps FC on July 19.
