has been named to the USL Team of the Week after helping lead the backline to a shutout and scoring a free kick goal of his own in a 3-0 road win over Austin Aztex. Striker
Caleb Clarke
made it on to the Team of the Week bench after scoring the first goal in WFC2 history.
Next up for Nitti and the team is a two-game road trip in California. First up is a match on Sunday at Orange County Blues FC (kickoff at 4 p.m. PT), followed by a game on Wednesday, April 15 at defending USL champions Sacramento Republic FC (kickoff at 7:30 p.m. PT). Both matches will be shown live on whitecapsfc2.com.
Following their road trip, WFC2 return home for their inaugural home opener on Sunday, April 19 against Toronto FC II. Tickets remain available for the match at
