‘Caps Kickoff on Terry Fox Plaza will be busy this Saturday, May 11as Whitecaps FC fans are invited to get excited and celebrate before the match kicks off at 4 p.m. PT. This Saturday’s ‘Caps Kickoff will run from 2:30 to 4 p.m. PT and all are invited to join us in this fun community event.
Dunk tank
Ever wanted to dunk an LA Galaxy fan? Well here’s your chance. This Saturday, Whitecaps FC fans will have the unique chance to dunk Galaxy clad participants in the Dunk Tank. Proceeds from the $2 donation per turn will go to the Canadian Cancer Society.
BC Professional Firefighter’s Burn Fund
Whitecaps FC’s community match day partner is the BC Professional Firefighter’s Burn Fund. Take photos and tour the inside of a real life fire truck. Be sure to visit their booth to learn more about fire safety and get a flower for Mom as the firefighters will be giving them away as an early gift for Mother’s Day.
Bell Fan Zone
Meet Whitecaps FC captain Jay Demerit at the Bell Fan Zone from 3 to 3:30 p.m. PT. Do not miss out on this exciting opportunity to get an autograph from Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s captain!
Show that you are the ultimate ‘Caps fan at the Bell Fan Zone. Get your face painted and hair sprayed in Whitecaps FC colours. Participants can also decorate and colour a Mother’s Day card just in time to celebrate Mom. Take part in Bell Predict a Goal where you can win a prize if you correctly guess which ’Caps player will score at a particular time.
Only available this weekend, Bell will be giving out a limited amount of blue cotton candy.
Kia Tweet to Cheer
Check out the Kia Optima Whitecaps FC car which will be on display. You can also Tweet to Cheer by visiting the Kia car located at section 248 on the concourse to see the car honk for the ‘Caps and your message displayed onscreen.
Do you play soccer? Got a good shot? Fans can show their skills at three booths by BMO, BC Hydro and Zip Car.
BMO Kicking Cage
The BMO Kicking Cage provides fans of all ages with the chance to test their accuracy. At the booth, sign up for a BMO MasterCard to experience the Power of Blue. Use your BMO MasterCard or debit card at the BMO Power of Blue line at Gate A at BC Place and you could have the unique chance to partake in the Official Coin Toss, experience the BMO Move of the Match where you could automatically get upgraded to club seats, or take part in the BMO Post-Match Kick.
BC Hydro Power Smart
BC Hydro’s Power Smart team will provide a chance to kick around a soccer ball and learn about conserving energy.
Zip Car
Zip Car offers fans the opportunity to kick a ball through a van.
Music
Additional entertainment on ‘Caps Kickoff will be provided by Bell Media as TEAM Radio, The Beat 94.5, and QM/FM 103.5 will be there to play music for all participants.

Entertainment
The Comic Soccer players featuring Sammy Soccer on stilts will be on the plaza, providing family friendly comedy to all attendees.
