A lot of thought goes into pre-season preparations. Where the players go to work while they prepare for First Kick March 2nd is almost as important as the work itself. When the Whitecaps decided they were going to the Carolina Challenge Cup in Charleston, they wanted a training facility that served all the technical needs, but also kept them in close proximity to their downtown hotel. The College of Charleston facilities at Patriots Point aren't just top class, but the area itself is steeped in history and attractions.
