Hey ‘Caps fans, Marco Carducci here giving a little look into my travels with the Canadian U-20 men’s national team in England and Spain.
A long day of travel from Vancouver to London (which included a brief layover in my hometown of Calgary) finally finished and we arrived at our destination. We spent the first night in London. It was my first time there so I was excited to be able to check out what it was like!
After checking in at the hotel, myself, along with a small group of players, made our way into the city. We found our way to some great tourist spots, taking in beautiful views of the London Eye and Big Ben (click on the links to check out my pictures).
The next morning we travelled down to Bournemouth, our camp location for our time in England. The last couple days here have consisted of catching up with teammates and of course training in preparation for our match against our first opponents of the camp, England.
We are definitely all looking forward to the match Wednesday evening. Hopefully you guys are too!
Thanks for reading fans. Hope you enjoyed the first part of my blog. Until next time!
Marco
