Unfortunately (for some), today marks the last day of the 'Caps Movember campaign.
Here at the ‘Caps office there are many relieved men (and their wives), including president Bob Lenarduzzi and club ambassador Carl Valentine, ready to get rid of their staches.
This morning, jealousy ensued as Bob and Carl joined Breakfast Television to have their moustaches formally shaven clean.
Our Whitecaps FC Mo team has made a valiant effort this month to grow staches and raise funds for Prostate Cancer Canada and other men’s health initiatives.
We would like to send a sincere thanks to Greg Kettner for organizing an in-kind MoComedy night at Yuk Yuk’s Comedy club to support Whitecaps FC mo growing efforts.
As the day draws to a close, the ‘Caps Mo team sits as the top club in Major Leauge Soccer for most funds raised. With Seattle Sounders FC close behind, we hope to keep hold of this title into the wee hours of the night.
Thank you to all that donated and helped contribute to this year’s Movember success. The funds raised this month help initiate awarness for issues that are often ignored the other 11 months of the year. Bear your moustaches with pride, and pat yourselves on the back for a job well done.
