Today, April 1, marks the first day of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Month. For the entire month of April Canadians will be purchasing and wearing the yellow daffodil pin in support of all those living with cancer.
In support of Daffodil Month Whitecaps FC will be promoting awareness at both upcoming home matches on April 13 and April 27.
In 2012 approximately 186,400 Canadians were diagnosed with cancer. An estimated 23,300 of these cases were from British Columbia alone.
