The ‘Caps are about to get some new competition in the United States Soccer Development Academy (USSDA). Two of their biggestMLS foes, Portland Timbers and Montreal Impact, will have both U-16 and U-18 teams competing in the USSDA next year, boosting the number of teams MLS clubs in the league to 17 overall. Portland will play against Whitecaps FC in the West Conference, while Montreal becomes the second Canadian team to enter the USSDA, following in the footsteps of the 'Caps last year. (USSoccer.com)
