The Maltese falcon that is striker Etienne Barbara is almost ready to take flight in Major League Soccer (MLS). After suffering an injury earlier this year, his road to recovery is nearly complete with one reporter noting that, "Etienne Barbara can see himself playing in a Vancouver Whitecaps game next month." With the tremendous support the Whitecaps women received for their match in Chilliwack last season, the club made sure that returning this season was a priority. Last year saw the squad defeat Colorado Rush 3-0 and now they're counting on the community to help them do the same when they host Colorado Rapids women on June 1 at Exhibition Field.
