WHITECAPS FC IN THE NEWS:

The men’s team gets back in the saddle today for a preseason showdown against Cascadian rivals Seattle Sounders FC in Casa Grande, Arizona. One Whitecaps player who's particularly excited to be dusting off his boots is striker Atiba Harris. Harris missed most of last season after undergoing two knee surgeries, but now he's back with a bullet, telling the Province's Marc Weber, "I’m just looking forward to getting back on the pitch and doing what I can to help this team and make this city proud." Whitecaps FC's Stuart Neely will be a featured guest on the latest edition of the podcast It's Called Football this evening. Neely was recently named head of player management and advancement for the club’s Residency program. Be sure to listen in to get the latest on Whitecaps player development and how he's adjusting to wearing blue and white after suiting up in the red and white of TFC for four years.
