An early goal saw Canada fall 1-0 to the United States and finish in second place in Group B
Maxime Crépeau started the match in net for Canada, while Lucas Cavallini subbed on early in the second half.
The U.S. opened the scoring only 20 seconds into the match as Shaq Moore finished from in close.
The Canadians had a shout for a penalty kick later in the first half as Richie Laryea tussled with Walker Zimmerman heading into the box, but no call was given.
Canada now advance to the quarterfinals next Sunday, July 25 against the Group C winner, which will be either Jamaica or Costa Rica.
