After an incredible midweek 3-2 comeback for the 'Caps over Portland Timbers, both forward Déiber Caicedo and head coach Vanni Sartini have been named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 31.
Facing a 2-0 halftime deficit, Caicedo ignited the rally with a brilliant run from his own half to cut it to 2-1.
The Colombian then assisted on the tying goal, with a combination between two of Sartini's second half substitutions. Bruno Gaspar managed to get a cross in to Brian White for 2-2.
Finally, Sartini's halftime substitution Cristian Dájome earned a penalty kick, and finished it himself for the winning goal.
