Whitecaps FC attacker Déiber Caicedo was named to the annual 22 Under 22, presented by BodyArmor on Tuesday, honouring the best young prospects in the league.
The Colombian came in at #21 on the list. In his first MLS season, Caicedo has amassed four goals and six assists in 28 appearances and 22 starts. His 10 goal contributions this season are third highest among all players listed, behind only FC Dallas duo Ricardo Pepi (#1) and Jesús Ferreira (#9).
The voting panel was made up by MLSsoccer.com staff, members of the MLS player department and external media. Voters were asked to rank their Top-22 players in order based on technical, tactical, physical and potential abilities.
