This past weekend, both the Whitecaps FC U-17 and U-15 Academy boys kicked off their 2019-2020 Development Academy seasons in Colorado.
U-17
The U-17s played their first match against Real Colorado on Saturday, finishing 1-1.
Eric White scored the goal for the ‘Caps.
Sunday’s match against Colorado Rapids ended in a 3-1 result for the home team.
Muslim Umar scored his first goal for the 'Caps.

U-15
The U-15s won a wild 4-3 match over Real Colorado on Saturday.
After an own goal tied the match with 10 minutes to go, Maximilian Comsia completed a hat-trick with a late goal to take the victory.
Comsia carried his hot start into Sunday’s match against Colorado Rapids, scoring his fourth goal in two matches.
However it was not enough as the ‘Caps fell 4-1 in Commerce City.
NEXT UP
The U-19s begin their season on Saturday, September 21 at home to FC Golden State at the National Soccer Development Centre (NSDC). Kickoff will be at 11 a.m. PT.
On Sunday the U-17s and U-15s are back in action against Cascadia rivals Portland Timbers at the NSDC. The U-15 match will start at 10 a.m., followed by the U-17s at 12:30 p.m. PT. The U-19s will also play the Timbers on Sunday in a friendly match at 3 p.m. PT.
