It wasn’t only the MLS squad chopping down the Timbers this weekend, as the Whitecaps FC BMO Academy travelled south to Portland to face their rivals.
U-19
The eldest ‘Caps won 3-0 against the Timbers.
Albert Kang scored first, followed by two goals from Jefferson Alade. Evan Ince earned the clean sheet in net.
With only two losses in 19 matches, the U-19s sit atop the Northwest Division and second overall in the DA standings.

The U-17s played to a 2-2 draw on goals from Eric White and Emiliano Brienza.
In the Northwest Division, the U-17s remain in second place on points per game, narrowly behind the undefeated De Anza Force.
