BC Place was named the fourth best stadium experience in Major League Soccer yesterday.
The ranking came courtesy of Stadium Journey, an online resource that runs the rule over sporting venues across the globe in an effort to highlight those providing the best fan experiences.
The ‘Caps home ground was ranked 90th out of more than 2,000 North American venues reviewed during 2014. Praised for its great “game day experience” and “very unique atmosphere,” the ranking is as much a recognition of the stadium as it is the fans who fill it every week to cheer on the Blue and White.
BC Place was joined on the countdown by Sporting Park – the home of Western Conference newcomers Sporting Kansas City; alongside Providence Park and CenturyLink Field – home to our Cascadia rivals Portland Timbers and Seattle Sounders FC.
