Though it was a cold and overcast first day of December 2010, staff members from Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Major League Soccer took to the skies to have a look at the two venues that will be home to the club in 2011.
Flying high above in a helicopter, club and league officials got an aerial view of Empire Field, which will serve as Whitecaps FC's home stadium when they begin play in MLS next March.
The group then flew west to the site of BC Place, where they were given an overview of the current renovations that are taking place at the stadium.
