Whitecaps FC BMO Academy are proud to congratulate coach John Antulov, who has been named the 2023 Coach of the Year by BC Soccer. This recognition is a testament to John's dedication, expertise, and outstanding contributions to the soccer landscape in the Thompson Okanagan.
Antulov, who has a storied history with Whitecaps FC, played for the Vancouver 86ers and has been coaching in the Whitecaps FC Kamloops BMO Academy Centre since 2014. His knowledge of the game and commitment to player development have brought a positive impact to the Kamloops soccer community.
In addition to his pivotal role at our academy, Antulov is also head coach of the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack men's soccer program, as well as the head coach of the semi-professional League1 BC team Rivers FC. His extensive involvement in the soccer community reflects not only his passion for the sport but also his commitment to fostering excellence at every level.
Antulov's coaching journey has been marked by continuous success and unwavering dedication. His leadership and coaching prowess have not only elevated the performance of our academy players but have also left a lasting impact on the broader soccer landscape.
