VANCOUVER, BC - The 'Caps saw strong efforts across the board in their triumphant return to BC Place over the weekend, resulting in a trio of players receiving MLS Team of the Week honours on Monday.
Defender Ali Adnan was selected to the league's best XI for Week 10, while Homegrown players Michael Baldisimo and Thomas Hasal were recognized as bench selections.
Adnan notched two assists in the 3-2 victory over Toronto FC to take sole place as the league's top assist man among defenders. Baldisimo tallied a goal and an assist in only his second appearance, and is also up for MLS Goal of the Week. Hasal recorded seven saves to help the 'Caps take down the defending Eastern Conference champs.
The 'Caps are back at it on Sunday when they host Montreal Impact behind closed doors at BC Place. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. PT live on TSN1 and TSN Radio 1040.
