Whitecaps FC Academy teams were back in action over the weekend, hosting Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday and San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday at the National Soccer Development Centre.
U-19
The U-19s started the weekend with a 1-1 draw versus Sacramento.
After being down at halftime, Vasco Fry scored in the 75th minute.
Sunday’s match ended in a 2-0 win over San Jose.
Keenan Foley scored 15 minutes into the second half, and Jefferson Alade put the match to bed near the end.

The U-17s defeated Sacramento 3-1 on Saturday.
Massud Habibullah and Emiliano Brienza scored for the ‘Caps, while Brandon Cambridge created an own goal while recording an assist on Habibullah’s goal.
On Sunday, the ‘Caps came away with a 2-0 win over San Jose.
Matteo de Brienne scored both goals, with Cambridge picking up another assist on the day.

The U-15s fell 4-3 in a high scoring match against Sacramento.
Chike Ogbuke, Theo Afework, and Joey Pereira netted the goals.
Sunday ended in a 4-2 defeat versus the Earthquakes. Jay Herdman and Yayo Mutombo scored the goals.
