Vancouver Whitecaps FC will go for a TELUS Canadian Championship three-peat on Wednesday, September 25 when they host MLS rivals Toronto FC at BC Place. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. PT.
Tickets will go on sale at ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps on Wednesday, August 28 at 10 a.m. PT.
“Hosting a cup final is always special, and to do it now for three straight years is very exciting for our supporters,” said Axel Schuster, Whitecaps FC sporting director. “Everyone who was here in 2022 saw how amazing the atmosphere was when we won the final against Toronto FC. Now we need the city to rally around the team again to continue our reign as the best club in Canada.”
The winner of the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship will qualify for the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup, featuring the best clubs from across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
The ‘Caps will be looking to claim a fourth Voyageurs Cup. The first came in 2015 in a two-leg victory over Montreal Impact. The next title came in 2022, with an enthralling shootout victory over Toronto FC, followed by a repeat in 2023 with an exciting 2-1 win over CF Montreal.
Whitecaps FC advanced to the final following , while Toronto FC defeated CPL side Forge FC on away goals from a 2-2 aggregate score over two legs.
