This weekend, the fourth edition of the annual Whitecaps FC Showcase begins at Newton Athletic Park.
The event kicks off on Friday with 13 EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL) matches taking place between all eight BCSPL clubs.

The whole of Canada will be well represented this weekend as teams such as Alberta sides Calgary Foothills and Edmonton Drillers, Quebec side ACP Lions, Ontario side Nepean SC, and Manitoba side FC Northwest are also participating in the weekend tournaments. The festivities begin at 8:45 a.m. PT with Coastal FC facing Mountain United FC in the U-18 age group on Field #4.
The Whitecaps FC Girls Elite team will also be in action, as the Blue and White take on the University of the Fraser Valley on Friday, March 22 and Calgary Blizzard on Saturday, March 23. Kickoff against University of the Fraser Valley is at 4:30 p.m. PT, while kickoff against Calgary Blizzard is at 10 a.m. PT.
Newton Athletic Park will be the place to be this weekend for what promises to be a full slate of top quality, entertaining soccer.
