PROFILE
A young striker with Canadian senior national experience, Daniel Haber joined Whitecaps FC 2 in January 2016, after starting his professional career in Israel and Cyprus.

UNITED SOCCER LEAGUE
2016:
Haber finished second on WFC2 with seven goals in the regular season, while leading the side with four assists. He was the only player to play in all 30 regular season matches, starting 27 of them, the second-highest on the team. Haber also led WFC2 in shots (57) and shots on goal (25) in regular season play. He earned a USL Team of the Week selection for his Week 2 brace at Timbers 2. He burned T2 again in Week 13, scoring an 87th-minute match-winner to earn a bench selection to the USL Team of the Week. Haber started each of the 'Caps three playoff matches, scoring the late winner in the Western Conference Semifinal versus Oklahoma City Energy FC. 

FIRST TEAM 
2016: After making one substitute preseason appearance for Whitecaps FC, Haber made his first-team debut in the international friendly against Crystal Palace FC on July 19, 2016 at BC Place Stadium. The forward replaced Kianz Froese in the midfield for the final 11 minutes of the match. 

ISRAEL
2015:
During his lone season with Hapoel Nir Ramat HaSharon FC of Liga Leumit, the second division of professional soccer in Israel, Haber started nine of his 17 appearances while scoring five goals, tied for third on the team. 2013: Haber also played in Israel in 2013, beginning his professional career with top-tier Maccabi Haifa FC of Ligat Ha'al, scoring two goals in four appearances.

CYPRUS
2013-15:
Haber spent three years at Apollon Limassol of the Cypriot First Division, starting three of his 18 league appearances and scoring three goals. The Canadian made four appearances in the 2013-14 UEFA Europa League, and scored one goal in three appearances in the 2013-14 Cypriot Cup. In the 2014-15 season, he went on loan to fellow Cypriot First Division club Ayia Napa, scoring three goals and starting 26 of his 30 appearances.
 
COLLEGE
2010-12:
In his collegiate career, Haber played three seasons for the Cornell University Big Red in the Ivy League, an NCAA Division I school. In his final campaign in 2012, Haber was named first-team All-American, Ivy League Player of the Year, and a Hermann Trophy finalist after tallying 18 goals and seven assists in conference play, and leading the country in points-per-game and goals-per-game averages.

INTERNATIONAL
Senior:
As of February 4, 2016, Haber has made five appearances for the Canadian senior men's national team, making his debut on May 28, 2013 versus Costa Rica, who featured Whitecaps FC defenders Jordan Smith and Kendall Waston. He also suited up for Canada alongside Whitecaps FC midfielder Russell Teibert and WFC2 defender Jackson Farmer in a scoreless draw against Mauritania on September 8, 2013.

PERSONAL
Daniel Bram Haber comes from a sports family, with his brothers playing soccer and volleyball. The Ontario native speaks both English and French fluently.

Haber was three years old when he started playing soccer for North York Cosmos. His favourite athletes include Lionel Messi, Robert Van Persie, Karim Benzema, LeBron James, and Tom Brady.
