Vancouver Whitecaps FC are mourning the passing of former player Terry Yorath at the age of 75.
Yorath played for the 'Caps during the North American Soccer League (NASL) era from 1981-82, where he was team captain. Prior to coming to Vancouver, Yorath had a long career in England with Leeds United, Coventry City, and Tottenham Hotspur. Yorath was also a regular with the Welsh national team, and would go on to manage Wales as well as other sides such as Swansea City, Cardiff City, and Sheffield Wednesday.
