VANCOUVER, BC – Major League Soccer announced on Monday that Vancouver Whitecaps FC striker Brian White has been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 10 following his performance in the ’Caps 3–1 win over Colorado Rapids in front of a sold-out crowd at BC Place. The victory extended Vancouver's best-ever start to an MLS regular season to 8W-1L-0D (24 points), becoming only the second MLS team in the post-shootout era to win eight of their first nine matches. Dating back to the start of 2025, no MLS team has posted a better regular season record than the Blue and White at 26W-8L-9D. In that time, the 'Caps have the best goal difference (+48), fewest goals against (43), and second most goals scored (91).

White notched his third brace of the season in the win, bringing his total up to eight goals which is tied for third in MLS. In addition, White's second finish of the night was his 70th MLS regular season goal for the 'Caps and is now only two goals away from becoming the first player in the club's MLS era to score double-digit goals in five different seasons. White also had three chances created, three recoveries, and one successful duel in the victory. This marks White's fourth selection to the MLS Team of the Matchday in 2026 (Matchday 3Matchday 4Matchday 7).
